Potato Prints

Today for Tot Art, we made potato prints. I am not a sculptress, so some of the shapes looked a little rough.

This is supposed to be a heart.
But the end result was super cute!

P.S. If you do this at home, you hands will smell like potatoes for awhile. Also, triangles and squares are great shapes to start off with (the heart is a bit complicated, and I tried to do a star, but it did not work out).

So much fun scrolling through your posts – from the giant Lite-Brite to the water tables, it’s clear CMOM is still the ultimate playground where Memphis kids learn by doing!
One small upgrade that families here are loving in 2025: the digital membership card
. The second a family joins or renews, their card pops straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. No more digging through purses at the front desk – just tap and play! Parents can instantly share guest passes with friends, kids get excited watching their loyalty points climb after each visit, and everyone gets a heads-up when a new exhibit (or that beloved carousel) is ready.
It’s the kind of frictionless magic that lets the focus stay on the giggles and discoveries. Keep making Memphis childhoods brighter!
